David Schnur Associates (DSA), a global supplier of outsourced technical sales and marketing services for the medical device and life sciences industries, recently  announced an exclusive, multi-year strategic agreement to add TekniPlex Healthcare to its network  of partner companies. DSA will represent TekniPlex Healthcare’s Interventional Devices category in  most of North America as well as across Latin America, Europe, Israel and Turkey.

TekniPlex Healthcare’s Interventional Devices category comprises complex custom extrusions, precision polymer and metal components, catheters and catheter-based delivery systems, and molding and assembly associated with interventional devices. Also included are complex design and development services involving implantable components such as stents, stent grafts and  transcatheter valves.

“TekniPlex’s Interventional Devices portfolio is a tremendous resource with strong niche  technologies in complex extrusion, metal components and nitinol fabrication from legacy brands  including Dunne Industries and former Seisa Medical brands Burpee MedSystems, Peridot Corp.  and ProtoQUICK,” said DSA CEO Barry Schnur. “These technologies are a great complement to  DSA’s current partner offering and strengthen our ability to provide customers with a single-source  solution for interventional devices, particularly for catheter-based delivery systems and implants.”

“Partnering with DSA’s medical device specialists provides TekniPlex Healthcare with a ready made extension of its internal sales, marketing and customer management teams for selected interventional device products and services,” said Bryan Wesselmann, vice president of sales and  marketing for TekniPlex Healthcare. “Working with DSA’s turnkey technical experts allows us to  take a streamlined, focused approach to expanding and diversifying our evolving medical device  business.”
