Addtronics Buys Contact Lens Production Equipment Maker DAC International

Addtronics, a consolidator of niche automation technology and solution providers for the life sciences and other industries, announced that it has acquired DAC International, a manufacturer of precision equipment for contact lens and intraocular lens (IOL) production.

Located in Carpinteria, California, DAC specializes in designing, building, and supporting equipment throughout both the contact and intra ocular lens industries.

Ken Payne, President of DAC, will continue to lead the organization and work closely with the Addtronics leadership team.
