
Cretex Medical, a provider of contract medical device manufacturing and engineering services, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Atemisa Precision, S.A. in Alajuela, Costa Rica. The company provides machining services to the medical and industrial sectors in Costa Rica.
The transaction is expected to close before the end of the year. Financial terms were not disclosed.
By integrating Atemisa’s machining expertise with Cretex Medical’s newly constructed facility in Cartago, Costa Rica, the company will strengthen its local, vertically integrated capabilities, including advanced machining, molding, laser processing, and assembly.
