Interpower Starts Production of Japanese 12A/125VAC Medical Plug

Interpower today started production on its Japanese 12A/125VAC hospital-grade power cord and cord set after obtaining Japanese PSE approvals. With a Japanese hospital-grade plug on one end, and an IEC 60320 C13 connector on the opposite end of 1.25 mm² VCTF cable, the cord set is ready to use out of the box. The newly designed plug offers more flexibility in manufacturing custom cord length and color options for this cord set. Additional features include:

• A Japanese hospital-grade cord set with a PSE-approved plug bearing the "green dot" — green dot power cords are specifically designed to withstand the demanding safety and increased performance standards of medical facilities.
• Internal stainless steel clamp rings to ensure conductor retention.
• Customized lengths and colors are available (standard color is gray).

The part number for the new cord set with a C13 connector is 86277300, and for the plug and cord with an unterminated end, 86277310.
